1. Advice for OSU and Michigan...play a real schedule, and you might not get beat down against a "real" stout conference. I called these guys frauds from the middle of the season on...and they proved it. Media love will only get you so far.
  2. Dead on the mark, isitlsuitis

Thank God for Urban Meyer's politicking skills.

He caught a lot'o'crap for that from Lloyd Carr.(Jealous MF)

PS We owe Gary Danielson and the CBS graphics division kudos as well.

    F the Little 10.

I hope the SEC schools 'em again NEXT season too.

Preferably our :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead :tigerhead in N'Awlins. :crystal: :thumb: :thumb:
  3. I think he had something to do with it but I think it was mostly because of the stink of the re-match. All season the BCS advocates claim that the regular season of college football is the "playoffs". Well if UM lost to tOSU in the "playoffs" already why should they have gotten another shot?
  4. Um..the SEC owned the Big Ten? You guys realize that the Big Ten went 2-1 against SEC teams in bowl games this year, right?

Including Big Ten #3 Wisconsin beating SEC #2 Arkansas, right?

    Just checkin'.

(BTW...screw OSU and Michigan...they won't be in BCS games next year if Wisconsin, PSU, and Illinois have anything to say about it. Yes...Illinois.)
  5. Thats what I say, you only get one loss in a playoff and its time to go home; they had their chance, time to get over it.
I would love to see a real playoff, but the way the bowls and BCS are set up now they make money from a very broad fan-base. I think the main problem (of course stems from profits) is how many fans will or can travel 2 or 3 weekends in a row to playoff games.
Even the BCS proponents see we need a change, but the dollar gets in the way...:cuss:
  6. :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:

  7. Come on PussyLions. The Big 10 has been exposed. Wisconsin (1 loss) barely beat an Arkansas team that had it's confidence demolished by LSU in the season-ender. Penn State? What a joke. Didn't they get stomped by the pathetic Irish? Don't think I'd be braggin' about that team. Illinois? Are you freakin' kidding me? They've sucked since LSU stomped a mudhole in them 6 years ago. Wisconsin had their shot this year but couldn't overcome the OSU/UM hype that we're talking about here. It's fine to be supportive of your team and conference, but be realistic. As long as you stay above the Mason-Dixon line, you'll do fine. Just stay away from the South, where speed is combined with strength, or the media might one day admit (they already realize it) that here is where the big dogs live.
  8. I think it was funny to hear all the smack talk at the dome before the game.
    They quieted down shortly after...:hihi:
  9. I think the best smack was the 2001 SEC Championship game, to stray from the topic a little. The tick-infested Hounds were sure they were going to come away with a win and a national title berth after getting Florida like they did.

    Hehehe...

Back to topic- If this travesty had occurred, we would be putting the 2006 Buckeyes in the same categories as the '04 Condoms, '00 Canes, '95 Huskers, etc- when really they were more in the category of the '04 Vandy squad.
  10. A they did not get another shot so the system worked.
