I haven't read all of these ridiculous health care bills but I have just learned that businesses will lose their tax credit for providing health care coverage for their employees. This means if you work for someone you will have no choice other than the public option unless you can afford to pay for it yourself providing that the private sector can survive losing all of those customers. If you don't sign on to any health care you will have to pay a tax. I can't believe we can even get this far when you consider Bush and Obama has broken the bank, the country has no money. The discussion should be that we have no money, period! I can't believe more people aren't suspicious and skeptical over this stuff. The red flags are all over the place!:dis: I will acknowledge that we don't know what the final bill will look like but the politicians don't read them anyway or know whats in it.:insane: Edit: When I say I can't believe we, I'm not talking about anyone specifically, I'm talking about us as a country. I can't see how anyone can support this kind of stuff, its bad for the country!
Morning Must Reads -- Doing a little costs a lot | Washington Examiner http://www.politico.com/livepulse/1009/Report_CBO_scores_House_versions_at_905_billion_or_less_.html "the two new proposals would offer less generous subsidies for people who need help buying insurance and do not have access to affordable employer coverage. Additional savings would come from reducing employer tax credits.” A know you won't except it so here goes nothing!
That surprises me, I thought all Obama and lib supporters would be hell bent for any of this! I am also surprised more aren't alarmed by the size and power of the Fed. They can blackmail states by holding back funds already. So much for state's rights!
All i want is affordable healthcare that wont drop me or wife and kid, and the ability to get affordable drugs.
Drug Prohibition is a racket. Free market drugs would be much more affordable. I recommend: Our Right to DRUGS (The Case for a Free Market) by Thomas Szasz And then there's tax-funded Medicare . . . tgsam
