teams haven't stopped the JJ option all year long even though they know it's coming I used to say the same thing about JJ being in the game and us telegraphing the plays. It doesn't seem to matter. We run it for 5-10 yards almost every time. I still do want to see a time where JJ feints like he's running the option, pulls back and let's it go. That would be a touchdown waiting to happen. That play will be run somewhere between the Arkansas and national championship games.
Why not?? Like I said, he's not made of glass. Just because he's not run the ball much, primarily because a grandma could beat him in a footrace, doesn't mean he's not tough enough to run it.
Jump pass vs. Florida? I feel like we faked the dive play then he took a few steps towards the line before executing the pass. Maybe it was just a fake QB run though. I don't remember. I am with you though. It is something I would like to see once too.
Didn't RP run that play for a TD (or at least huge gain) against Va Tech? Worked like a charm, the first time. Then the other teams snuffed it out, and it didn't work nearly as well in later games. But that was a few years ago. I'm getting old . . . .
What i'm looking for in the Ole Miss game is some excitement early in the game. I will be at a party where I will be forced to watch the Notre Dame/Boston College game at 4, so I may be dozing off by LSU 7pm kickoff.
You really want to see Lee get pummeled? That just makes absolutely no sense in the grand scheme of things. Might as well tie an anchor to JJ's ankle while we're at it and force him to throw from the pocket vs running with it for 10-15 yards for a first down frustrating the hell out of the defense. QBs have strengths and weaknesses. No time to test the weaknesses out at this late stage of the season.
It'd be the first time in 2011 this team broke 50 Personnally, I think it's against Miles religion to hang 50 on anyone!
If any of you are expecting to see Les "air" it out, lol..... enjoy the game. We win big however it is from lots of ground pounding and clock killing.
