1. YOU ARE WISE !
  2. Let me answer your question with a question of my own. Would you rather have a mediocre team and play every game at night or a great team and have to play day games? And don't come back with "that doesn't matter" because it absolutely does.
  3. Well unfortunately for LSU and the tradition of "Night games in Tiger Stadium" the SEC "primetime" games are played at 2:30 pm. Hasn't it been that way for some years now? CBS has practically owned the rights to the SEC "big games" for as long as I can remember and they've always have been in the afternoon.

  4. That is true. And I hate it, I love the night games. I guess it comes from years of high school football. The night atmosphere just is so much more exciting...:usaflagwa
  5. Makes no difference to me. I just start drinking earlier and gives me more time to celebrate after we win.
  6. They used to have night games on CBS. I think there may have even been one this year. 2:30 bleauxs. Most of us (students) are just waking up.

  8. If you're going to be a championship football program (and that includes the fanbase) you play the game and have the atmosphere of a champion at whatever time the game is played.

I'm tired of the "we're way better at night" crap. It needs to be a myth and dispelled. We're LSU damnit!! We're you're worse nightmare, day or night!!!

  9. What pisses me off is that they elected to give Florida the advantage of playing at night against us.
  10. We played Florida at night last year at home too. They need to do more double-headers on CBS. They would seriously rake in the ratings for a saturday night SEC rivalry to compete with the Big 12/Big 10/Pac 10 snorefests.

Even last year we played Bama at 4pm when they were testing out new time slots, I liked that time a lot more than 2:30.
