I agree. I would also give him credit for hiring John Chavis. Unfortunately, you are also totally right about game management. The man seems to be incapable of thinking on his feet, and we can't afford to have that type of coach, IMO.

Game planning is done by the coordinators. Head coaches approve the game plans.

Because it was third down. If we kneel, then punt 25 seconds later, UNC gets the ball back.

Presumably, the RB doesn't fumble and the game is over as soon as the refs set the ball and restart the clock.

If we kneel on 3rd down, we can't kneel on 4th because it will stop the clock and give them possession right there.
