Yup. I think Woodward has some very tough and very painful decisions to make and I think he will come down hard. His friendship with Emmert might save us from an actual charge, but in so doing I think he'll have to hammer us with self-imposed penalties substantially. Clean up the program for the outside to see something was done. Politics.. Woodward's arena. Just a hunch. I think the bowl ban was just dipping our toe in the pool.
“olol issue” ??? Agree that the some of the issues may result in a finding of lack of institutional control, but that will not come soon from the NCAA. This will drag on thru most of next year. Oh, and what does ed’s bedroom pic have to do with this? Dumb, yes! Poor judgement, yes! But not an NCAA issue or even one that would get him fired from LSU. Maybe that might get him an official reprimand.
ed is an employee of LSU and has brought reproach on the school and exercised poor judgement and demonstrated an amazing lack of awareness. Using that filter, how will the nc2a view the guice allegation?
I like your optimism, unfortunately I don't share it. I sense there's a lot of dissension on this team. I want to see how we perform these last two games. I expect us to get beat badly by the Gators tonight. If we don't close out with a W against the Reb's then it's going to be a long, long off season.
