I don't think "Everybody's All American" is all that great. Jessica Lange's ridiculous SUUthern accent killed it for me. But I also watch it when it's on because it was filmed @ LSU.

    My list would be:

    Rudy
    Remember the Titans
    Friday Night Lights
Wildcats (I was a coach's daughter, so I had fantasies of being a coach, myself, and they once asked me to when I was @ Springfield High.)
    Brian's Song

There is also a little-known movie called "Something for Joey" about the dying younger brother of a Penn State Heisman winner, a tear-jerker along the lines of "Brian's Song" or (even though it's baseball) "Pride of the Yankees."

I always know its getting close to the first day of football when the all day marathons of Rudy are on TNT.

My fav's would be Rudy, Remember the Titans, and Friday Night Lights.

Brain's Song is one of the greatest sports movies ever made. I watch it every time it comes on.

I agree. Once the movie moved past the LSU stuff it went down hill fast.

It's a mediocre film, but it's great LSU stuff. It was filmed in BR and Tiger Stadium and I was there. Tiger Band is in it.

I would've been there, but it was filmed the year before I got to LSU, unfortunately.

I like the part near the end when Timothy Hutton came back to Baton Rouge in the 80's, and there is that shot of Airline Hwy @ I-12 circa 1987. That always makes we way nostalgic.

Hutton was a regular at Louie's for late breakfast while the movie was in town. I spoke to him a couple of times.
