I'll admit that my first thought last year while watching Spurrier resign (while lying in an OR prep room waiting for my gall bladder and appendix to be removed--so I was on drugs) was--why don't we hire HIM to run our offense at LSU.
It looked to me like Harris had been coached NOT to take off. His running ability is the best thing about him, and he actually tends to throw better on the run. Why, for the love of all that's holy, would we try to make him a stand in the pocket passer like he's Mett.
