No. You stated as a fact that freedom of speech was a universal human right. It is not, no matter what the UN says.
right, legality is not a big concern if you are gonna burn a flag, except that being in trouble with the law for it would only be a good thing because it would make your gripe more newsworthy and you wouldnt get punished anyways. probably the only thing to consider when burning a flag is that some ass might try and beat you up. which i wold like also, because that would really get attention, and i like my chances in fights against idiots.
You forget that you can also sue the person who beat you up and have more money to buy more flags to burn. Also yo can press charges against the person that beat you up. And if that isn't enough, beating someone up for their political opinions is a hate crime. They get the double wammy and you get rich.
this is like one of those occasions when i agree, but for different reasons. i agree, free speech should be universal, and flags should be burned left right and center. i dont think it was mandated by god, but i think it is a good idea anyways. also it seems like fanatico's opinion would be a simple one for the rest of the christians to agree on. seems obvious that god loves freedom of speech.
right since christians are all about clinging and demanding their rights and such. you couldn't be more wrong.
