What do you all think of all these new uniforms?

Yes, agreed, full stripes!!! The half-ones look retarded.

I say the Tigers should go to a repro or throwback version of the '58 uniforms in '08 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first NC.

Also, I wouldn't mind the current helmet logo changed to reflect the new "font" and tiger head design LSU recently began using. Can someone produce a graphic to see what that would look like?

 

Specifically, the helmet design and full shoulder stripes.

 

I like the Syracuse uniforms...they are very similar to ours. SU is going retro, back to how their unis used to look in the Jim Brown era and the post-Brown era. The Orange's unis are basically the same as some of the others mentioned that folks like...they've got the shoulder stripes like LSU, the pants are fine, the helmets are like Bama's. They really are simple, maybe it's just the colors that folks don't like. The only thing I have a beef with is why is that one dude wearing one high white sock and no other sock????

 

Those Cincy uniforms look pretty good to me...

Heh. I like them in an "old school" kind of way. I certainly wouldn't change them after all these years. I prefer AU's...a little more color, but i know that's a biased opinion.

Which Old Mrs. uni are you thinking of? They've made so many changes over the years, I can't figure out what's what.

 

I wouldn't mind them changing the font on the helmet to reflect the Geaux Font. My reasoning is that the current font, which has been used for a long time, is NOT used in any other form or fashion anywhere. I don't really want to change the Tiger head, but I guess if they would change the font they'd likely change the Tiger head to the current one. I actually don't mind the new Tiger head by itself, but I don't like the overall "visual identity". It's way too busy. There is no need for that black Carolina Hurricanes look for the background. The Geaux Font and Tiger Head would suffice. Look at most of the other SEC schools logos...there very simple but very recognizeable.
