I lived there for 2 and a half years. We loved it. Great music scene. Austin City Limits Music festival is awesome, too! Just went to 311 for 3/11 day in New Orleans. They played for 5 hours (61 songs). It was a good time.
I go to lots of shows, so expect this thread to keep popping up...on Tuesday I saw: God or Julie (ehh..the sound wasn't good for them, we could only really hear the bass and the singer, so maybe I need to give them another try sometime) Finger Eleven (the singer doesn't play an instrument? the lead guitarist was good though) Chevelle (excellent)
