I go to about 6 LSU games per year (home and away). Tool doesn't come around very often. The decision was simple to me.

The Tool concert was very good. They played Flood, Schism, Jambi and some others. It was very similar to the show in BR a few months back. Maynard sounded good. Danny Carey is the best drummer alive. They played a great show. The drummer from the opening band (I think they were called "TransAm") came out and kinda dueled with Danny Carey on the drums and Danny Carey annihilated him. It was very entertaining though. It was a very fun night except the security there was a bunch of a-holes...but that's another story for another day.

Tool rocks. Now I'm ready for A Perfect Circle to start touring. I've never seen them, but I really really want to.

Last night I went over to Dallas for night one (of two) of a radio station's holiday concert. We didn't get there for the first part (and I don't think we missed anything worth seeing though), but I got to see:

a little bit of The Silversun Pickups (good)
    Coheed & Cambria (good)
    Paramore (ehhhhh...)
Silverchair (blast from the past and well worth it!!)
    Jimmy Eat World (love them!)
    Modest Mouse!! (ooooooooo...soooooo fantastic!!)
