Wow, in looking up info on the Mamas and the Papas, I just learned Denny Doherty died this past Jan 19th. That sucks all to hell. I was truly blessed to say I got to watch him perform in NY. Talented man and funny too.

Sadly I think I am missing about 15-20 other concerts but my memory is fleeting. Kinda depressing.

  4. Ok, I am jealous of this one. Talk about badass.

    Was it good?
  5. John Conlee (first concert I ever went to)
    Alabama
    Charlie Daniels
    Toby Keith
    Aaron Tippin
    Joe Diffee
Blake Shelton (will see him Friday night at the Dixie National Rodeo)

Tool (best concert I've been to)
Tomahawk (with Tool in Las Vegas; lead singer was the guy from Faith No More - they absolutely stunk. The guy actually told the crowd the more you boo, the longer they were going to play. Kinda funny.)
    Linkin Park
    Adema
    Cypress Hill
    Papa Roach
    Three Doors Down
    Nickelback
    Default
    Better Than Ezra
Charlie Mars (just him with no band; surprisingly very good)
    Puddle of Mud

Also, as I grow older, in addition to more country music, I'm beginning to lean toward:

    David Crowder Band
    Shane and Shane
The Gaither Christmas Homecoming Concert (2006)
  6. The Producers.
    I forgot about them

I used to see them all the time in the 80s on the River Boat President in New Orleans.
  7. Among many I've seen and some forgotten, have seen the Rollingstones 3 times. First and second time, Brian Jones was alive and well and Bill Wyman was in the band. Tickets were $4 first time, $6 second time. Saw them last in October '06. Ticket $120.
  8. Maybe we should be listing the most memorable concerts instead. Or even forgettable ones.
  9. I forgot to add:

    Creed
    Three Doors Down
Incubus (was the worst concert i've been too, my friend and I left before it was even over)
    Brooks & Dunn
