I absolutely do because you have been crying and bitching about this very same shit for as long as I can remember.
i dont think hes saying he wants a handout or there to be more handouts from the rich. hes saying if theres not a more relevant middle class, then class warfare is the eventual outcome.
I know, but he has always had a serious case of the red ass with anyone that has a lot of money. Always!
simply put the tax code, middle class has bore the brunt of the tax code for years. Red is correct in his argument about wages vs capital gains, however, capital gains should be taxed at an average rate like 21%, not 30 plus. Also, Im not in favor of the inheritance tax.
Slowly. I think voters will start abandoning the party that caters to the elite class at the expense of the middle class.
And you have never understood the argument at all. Exactly. If that's all you are capable of taking from this, then I give up on you. Why do you pucker up and kiss the asses of the wealthy elite class that is trying to rule this country? Why do you carry their water?
I understand your argument, I don't agree with it Then the middle class needs to engage and get busy to become better. Bitching and moaning because the rich get richer isn't the correct path, they get farther and farther away because you are waiting for them to take you by the hand. They won't, they are busy counting their money. This has always been your response and it is without basis. You insinuate that because I am not jealous or angry at them that I kiss their ass and carry their water. That is bullshit. I make my own way, try to get better, and live within my means (for the most part) and don't really care what anyone else is doing. They don't affect my life because like I said, they aren't taking "my" money. This isn't monopoly where there are only a certain amount of bills in the box and if one guy has them all he is king. Would I like more? Sure, who wouldn't, but I'm doing just fine with what I have.
I get that, but what does taxing the rich get us? Where does it then go? How did it translate into a healthier middle class in the 50's and 60's? Without doing the research, I assume a good portion went into infrastructure??
These are simply not true statements. I agree with the rest of your post that the tax rate is a big reason, but to say you pay more in taxes than those in the top tax bracket is simply incorrect. I've cited studies before on this issue.
