Because you said that GE paid more taxes than LaSalle. Everyone knows that he was talking about United Stated income taxes. So in fact Lasalle paid income taxes and GE received $3.2 billion in income tax credits!

He didn't say that. He said he paid more taxes than GE. That is not true. I am great, but a mind reader I am not.

LaSalle also didn't employ thousands of people who did pay taxes.

That says less about the Bush Tax Cuts and more about your money management.

Drilling doesn't affect gas availability and prices when you have a free market that allows oil companies to withhold production to increase demand and profits.

What has Hussein done for the economy? Absolutely nothing. Should we scrap him too?

There's your major difference between liberals and conservatives. Capitalism rewards hard work, entrepeneurship, creativeness, etc. The system leads to a robust economy unencumbered by excessive government intervention. Of course, some people get left behind and the libs can't stand that. They want to take the hard earned rewards and distribute them to those who couldn't cut it. Do they even still teach the fable of the grasshopper and the ant to young children?

right. i continually hear this idea that people feel entitled to gasoline at a price they like. as if they dont realize that they do not own the gas. they just want to take things from others. they cant be bothered to change their own behavior.
