Will someone please explain to me why we should send American troops to fight in a war between Russia and Ukraine.
Well, it’s a shooting war now. We’ll find out soon enough how the world will respond to tsar micro-penis.
its interesting how trump pushed the republican party towards anti-war, america-first isolationism. thats a pretty good thing i figure. now the average american republican voter seems to oppose new wars fairly strongly
If I knew the answer to that question, I would pick the winning numbers in the next national lottery selection. End of discussion.
It used to be to keep our allies as close to Russia as possible and not let Russia get closer to us. However, what is there to gain in the Ukraine? That rhymes. Would the USA take a stronger stance for Taiwan? China is watching closely. Once Ukraine is finished, they will have the backing of Russia when they make their move on Taiwan. Taiwan makes over 50% of microchips in the world today. China can make everyone bend the knee with that kind of advantage. Xi and Putin were discussing this during the opening Olympic ceremony. Does it matter if the first stand is in the Ukraine? Does that help us in future escalations? People are in the War Room discussing these things. I think that whatever we do doesn't end at Ukraine, it begins there.
Huge difference between Ukraine and Taiwan, which is a major US trading partner and a western-style democracy in a country where that type of government is unusual. The Chinese already know we will back Taiwan against an incursion there, regardless of what happens in Ukraine.
