What you have to realize is that, just like the Ukrainian President, he supports suppressing political opposition
False! The former president of Ukraine is supporting Zelensky and Ukraine has evolved into a multiparty democracy. That’s one of the reasons Putin invaded. He couldn’t stand to see a successful democracy next door especially one so ethnically close to the Russians.
