well, he is spending our money at an unprecedented pace.

regarding liberatarianism, i do not agree with their stance on civil liberties vs security. i am ok with giving the government some semi-invasive right to catch terrorists. and right now it is too late for hand-off libertarian foreign policy. and i like many public project, like education and infrastructure. i wouldnt mind a big government boondoggle high speed rail. but for the most part libertarians have it all figure out.

Well, that's pretty disrespectful, not to mention a little nasty. But how about this? Given the tone of the presidential campaign, plus the fact that we're beginning to see a number of polls that show Americans clearly disagree with many of the things Pres. Obama is doing, but still love him anyway, how about this name:

    President NotBush

Show me those polls, because the last I saw 62% of Americans approve of the job he is doing.

    Americans vastly against GM bailout:
Rasmussen Reports: The Most Comprehensive Public Opinion Data Anywhere

Less than 1 in 3 Americans feel the stimulus package is helping:
Rasmussen Reports: The Most Comprehensive Public Opinion Data Anywhere

More than half of Americans fear government is trying to do too much, and that number is growing

Only 45% want Sotomayor to be confirmed, although they know we're stuck with her.

So to summarize, America in general thinks....GM bailout bad, Supreme Court nominee bad, stimulus not working, and the number who think government is too involved is growing. All of these are Obama's doing, but Obama is good!

Most of those polls are pretty much split, so that isnt saying much to me.

Your poll on Sotomayor is very misleading

Also, you listed 3 things, what about the polls that he is favored on, as far as health care, Afghanistan, Iraq?

Sotomayor is pretty much 50% across the board. The best place to gauge polling data is pollingreport.com. It compiles all the major polls in one place and has no political commentary or conclusions. Its just a data base of polls and most show that Sotomayor is around 50%.

I do agree with the odd approval ratings for the President. Polls suggest the public is mostly against many of his policies but yet he still has a high approval rating. It reinforces the pied piper theory that many of his detractors suggest when saying we are blindly following.

AFP: Hefty support for Obama's Iraq withdrawal: poll

I dont see how "MOST" of his policies are unpopular among American people. I just refuted your claim with three positive polls. But I dont know what you would define as Most. Maybe thats more than 1 in your book?
