I just paid 15 large for a new roof on my house, so it's a foregone conclusion that the double super hurricane will hit dead center here (MS Gulf Coast).
I just spiffed up my guest bedroom to host my parents in all likelihood. It makes me nervous because my dad is extremely high risk, but he also depends on oxygen and can't lose power at home. I am working at my school daily, but there are no students there and only about half of the staff work from the building. My daughter goes to drill team practice every morning, then does school from home. I just hope we don't expose them to Covid, but they don't need to be near landfall of two freaking hurricanes within two days.
Hope and pray y’all get through safe with no damage. We’ve already taken a bullseye hit this year. Too many people thought Cat 1, no sweat (mostly tourists) and they got burned. Please don’t under estimate either storm.
Two years ago my flood insurance became effective at midnight the day Florence hit. Cut that a little close!
So we getting dp'd by these 2 storms 36 hours apart. Insanity. Bright side is it's a good time to drown a few protesters. New Orleans is gonna get hammered.
What are you going to do if you are showing signs of a heart attack and ER personnel won't admit you because of your refusal to wear a mask?
