LMAO @ the "upset win over rival Neville" comment. Neville hasn't been favored over WMHS since my Senior year. In fact, I'm surprised the they're playing Neville. They refused to play WMHS for years.

Shows runs a clean program despite claims by rival (jealous) schools to the contrary. He is an excellent coach and in the past has had a staff that most state universities would have loved to have. He has second to none support from his boosters and fantastic facilities. When I attended there the guys from ULM (then NLU) and Tech would come over to workout with our coaches at our facility before the combine. The facility has gotten much, much better since then, too.

Sanders is the lynchpin of the program. His training programs transformed the schools athletics and have served as notice to the surrounding schools in the area.

This is SO refreshing to post something about West Monroe High School and not get flack from other poster, such is what happened on the Tiger Rant. Look at how many players have gone to LSU from WM over the years from Jerry Stovall, Shawn King(I graduated with him), to Will Blackwell and Shomari Clemons. At least WM supports LSU unlike JOHN CURTIS!

Here is some video of WM...http://eteamz.active.com/wmrebelfootball/news/index.cfm?id=4020461&cat=0&SitePage=

Over the last few years West Monroe has been a hotbed for future Lsu talent....how are they looking this year?

Not nearly as talented. Traditionally their defenses are one of the best in the state, but they will come along slowly this year. It would not be surprising to see this to be their worst record since 1995. Their offense should light up the scoreboard, though.
