I was able to get two tickets (at face value) thanks, BRO. Took my son(high school soph. at the time), one of the best times we've ever had. Then went down in the quarter after the game. Still get goose bumps thinking about. Had a meeting the next day and could barely speak.

I was fortunate enough to not be there. However, if I had been, I would have had us continue to run the ball late in the fourth quarter instead of throwing 4 incomplete passes in the redzone when your guys had their hands on their hips and getting IVs on the sidelines. We would have scored to tie the game and then won in OT.

    Just my two cents.

Even though I was there, I did tape the game. I'll let you take a look at the last couple of minutes. Parphasing what we used to say in junior high, " OU and what army?"

I lend you a copy to see the end again if you'd like.

Now come on Mr. Peabody, the last quarter of that game is forever etched in all of our memories. It seems to me that you don't have your facts straight. We physically dominated the entire game, especially on defense. :)

I wasn't, but I had a great time at our party. We were in the garage of my wife's aunt's house. We had 3 folding tables full of BBQ, and a roaster with a huge pig roasting on it. Someone brought over two 37 inch TVs and sofa. We had a stereo and was playing LSU fight songs during commercial breaks and halftime. It was fuggin great.

What a clown! And LSU should have run away with the game in the third quarter. Luck & fluke turnovers (LSU shooting itself in the foot) kept OU hanging around. LSU outclassed OU in the game & whipped their butts in the trenches, pure & simple. OU was so lucky to even keep it close. The score never reflected the ass whipping OU took in the game. USC outclassed OU last year & whipped the hell out of them for sure & it showed on the scoreboard. I wonder what "physical beating" OU players remember more, the one received from LSU or the one received from USC. Anyway, OU is finished making BCS NC game noise for a while. We don't expect to see OU around a NC game for years to come. Just my two cents.

Absolutely, with the neck lanyard, pin, and some pompoms as souvenirs!

My buddy got two tix in the lottery and was gracious enough to take me (instead of his wife, who spent the evening watching the game w/ my then girlfriend, now wife.) Way up in the corner, and I never thought the SuperDome looked as good as it did that night.

Looking back, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
