    I absolutely cannot wait for September 5th to get here. My husband is pestering me to go out of town for the weekend.

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

    I told him he can go wherever he wants that weekend, but I will be sitting on the couch in front of the HDTV, receiving college football intravenously, all leading up to 9:30 p.m.

    The worst thing about when football finally begins is that it is only for a short time before it ends. Anticipation is half the excitment. It's an odd yr I think we more than exceed expectations.

    that was my first thought when i read your first paragraph.

    my weekend will be spent much the same as yours. preparing for the main event at 9:30 pm on saturday! nothing else, and i mean NOTHING ELSE, matters that weekend!
