That's the biggest misconception. They only appear to be suspect because due to our blitzing schemes, and the amount of blitzes our defense will bring, anyone that KNOWS football (this would exclude yourself, THECrimsonTide), knows that if you blitz long enough, you're going to give up a big play.

So, take your "LSU secondary is suspect and brodie is going to have a field day" and cram up where the sun don't shine. Ya Mook!

If David Greene, one of the best QB's in the SEC, couldn't do it, there's NO WAY Brodie freak'n Croyle will.

Yah right, I'm sure you'll still be running when we it is 28-0. If you try to run, you lose. If you try to pass, you lose. Sorry Bama, but LSU will be the only team Rolling this Saturday.

i think you guys have to run it to. never said we could, thats to be seen, but whoever does will win this game. i wont predict the outcome of this game, because lord knows im partial to my team, but i do think if LSU runs the ball well from the start its gonna be a difficult time, and vice versa... thats all i was saying

I believe we will have a balnanced attack of run and pass and the Bama defense will not be able to stop it.

We rush for 170.4 yds/game, Bama rushes for 173.9 yds/game. We give up 60.3 yds/game on the ground while Bama gives up 112 yds/game. We will be able to run on you, and I know that we will shut down Shaud Williams.

Welcome back RollTideDieFran. Don't worry, I took my medication this morning and I'm feeling much better today.

The LSU D-Line is good, really good. It reminds me a lot of past Bama D-Lines. I know Williams is a good back, but I don't think Bama will have much luck on the ground. I think the best chance you guys have is to get in the shotgun, spread the field, and throw it quick. Anyway, I hope you get to see a good game, with LSU winning, of course.

Any team or player can have their best game during any one game. I do believe Bama is very capable of pulling out a win should LSU go through the motions. “Reference UF game”. If LSU is focused, limits the TO's and penalties, plays with intensity and plays fundamental FB, I don't think Bama can get any closer than (21) points.

Nothing listed below provides the win for LSU. Goes a long way in providing the fuel. Saban probably will not use it to motivate the team. Playing Alabama is motivation enough. But the team can meet without the coach, there are many players for LSU that played in or was at the 2002 game.

Bama still has players on the squad that were involved in those comments made to Saban. Players that are over 18 and hide behind their pathetic excuse of “they made us believe he said that” yep! Solid reasoning and justification to show such disrespect to your elders let a lone a coach with class and character. Let’s see what the outcome is this year!

    LSU MOTIVE TO WIN:
    One game closer to Atlanta
    Post Season Opportunity
One more step within an outside chance to play in the sugar.
Revenge for humiliation in 2002 (31-0)
Revenge for disrespecting our coach in 2002 (31-0)

    BAMA MOTIVE TO WIN:
    Knock off a #3 team
    Two games win streak
Win or lose no bowl participation
To say we played #1 very close, and beat #3
    Seniors last home game

Watch a little closer RTDF, Bama is #3 in the SEC in rushing while LSU is #4.
Bama gains 174 yards a game to LSU's 170. Bama averages 4.2 yards per rush to LSU's 4.1.

Rushing offense is the only category in which Alabama is ranked higher than LSU . . . and it is a neglible difference.

LSU ranks higher in rushing defence, passing defense, total defense, scoring defense and pass efficiency defense.

LSU ranks higher in passing offense, pass efficiency offense, scoring offense, passefficeincy and total offense.

LSU ranks higher in net punting, punt returns and kick returns.

Rushing may be LSU's lowest ranked category, but it is hardly a weakness.
