I can tell you this, the Bama fans I went with are scared $hitless by LSU. We had them shivering all game and while losing ripped my heart out, they knew we were the best team they faced.

I was lucky enough to watch the game from a private box and was proud to be there. As the only LSU fan among the gump hoard it was hard to take but they were pretty easy on me after. They knew they had been in a helluva ball game.

Well, what evidence did you see of poor conditioning? Well-conditioned players still get injured. I really didn't see players worn out or fatigued. Peterson shouldn't have been dehydrated, but that one is on the trainers not the S&C coach. There is also a rumor that Peterson had been fighting a cold this week, which may have had something to do with it.

We have had definite execution issues on both lines this year, but I really haven't seen issues with lack of strength or poor conditioning.

i'm getting a little sick of people complaining about our conditioning which has been the best in the nation for a decade now.

How can you say that after watching the game last night? If our talent is over rated then so is the talent on every team in college football.

I am a lot less worried about the offensive line after last nights game. They played one heck of a game against one of the best front sevens in college football.

I am a little worried about the D-line and the lack of pressure they get on the QB though. That is probably my biggest concern for next years team.

I am most concerned about the team "packing it in."

Last year, they left everything on the field for the Bama game, and didn't show up the rest of the season.

The focus now is how the coaches get the team to produce for Ole Miss and Arkansas.

I agree. We did a good job on Mount Cody and the front 7 for the most part.

If you go back and look at the play by play, we did ok against the run except for Ingram in the 3rd quarter. He hurt us bad.

Our D Line has gotten ZERO pressure this year. Alem hasn't done much this year.

I don't think our skill players are over-rated, but our lines are.

Lafell and Toliver are the best 1-2 punch at WR in the SEC. Peterson is the best cornerback in the SEC, maybe the country--pitched a total shutout against Jones last night. The LBs are solid. JJ isn't a NC caliber QB yet, but no one really thinks he is.

The lines have totally underperformed this year. No movement on offense. Terrible at run blocking and pretty bad at pass blocking. The DL gets no pressure. AMAB coaches told Danielson that they could get yards by running inside Alem, because he is too much of a pass rusher. Are you kidding me? He only has 3 sacks, and those came against Wash, Vandy and Tulane.

Lost in the trenches last night. I don't think it's conditioning, but coaching is definitely suspect.

I think what the bama coaches meant was that Alem is an upfield pass rusher. Alem has a quick first step, but 98% of the time its to the outside. If you are an offensive lineman on a running down, you just let him come upfield and Alem takes himself out of the play. The bama coaches were right and ingram gashed his side of the field numerous times because of it.

I'm extremely proud of this team this weekend. Against Florida, they showed up and ran plays. Against Alabama, they played football. The refs made some questionable calls, but in all honesty, the game was over when Jefferson was taken out. His loss, Scott's loss, and Peterson's loss are too much. Those are our 3 most important players. Add in a missing Richard Dickson and I couldn't be happier this morning. I can sleep easy knowing that we are just as good if not better than an Alabama squad who will most likely be playing a semi-final vs. Florida.
