Just imagine where we would rank (1st,2nd, 3rd....?) in total defense if our short bus, slow as hell to adjust in gametime situation coaches had a brain vs ASU and Tenn....

I can't get over the second half vs Tenn. Why did it have to cost us a game for these clowns to abandon the abortion zone defense?

wonder how we will fare vs bama's run. should be a great test. seems AU has found their running game finally as well.

Yeah I think that AU will be the most balanced offensive attack that we will have faced to date. But I think our DL will be able to uni-dimensionalize the ground threat. I'm hoping that ultimately we can bring the pain on Cox the way we did Leak, Cutler, Connor, and Ainge, and force him into some mistakes. He's still young, and I doubt he's faced anything near the magnitude of TS on a Saturday night just yet.

After this saturday, LSU will have played 6 games, 4 against top 20 teams. With no warm up game, 1st game moved, second game supposed to be at home moved to Az., third game off schedule after second major hurricane hits southeast part of the state, 4th game played 5 days later. WOW, what a meat grinder under adverse conditions, with a brand new coaching staff and a young QB, and lost our starting rusher for the season.

    WOW, what a meat grinder.

We owe some props to our coaches and players.

Has anyone else in the nation had it as hard as LSU? None that I can think of.

    no excuses...

LSU should be 5-0. Coaching cost us the Tenn game. Stop using the hurricane as an excuse. I understand that Les and Bo made the proper defensive changes 2 weeks after the fact. This scares me.....

Who is AU's 1st string RB? Is it that white kid they were talking about pre-season?

the thing that is much worse than the penalties is the turnover margin.. we are 101st... sad... in close to equal opponents, turnovers are the difference... just shows you how much more talent we have than florida..

    Edit: referring to philter's post

I think he was the starter at the beginning of the season.

This weekend at Arkansas, another one of their RB's, Kenny Irons, ran for about 182 yards. So either Tre Smith dropped in the depth chart or is injured, not sure.
