Nobody expects you to say Miles is great just yet, even I haven't said that, but you haven't even admited how much this team has improved. Your original post said that we should "GIVE UP HOPE, IT WON'T GET ANY BETTER." That was a dumba$$, now obviously wrong, remark. I couldn't be happier that Marine threw it back in your face.

I never said that there weren't problems with this team, but all you see (or atleast post) is negativity. I choose to read it & if I didn't care what you wrote I would put you on ignore, but I don't ignore people just because I don't agree with them. I was pointing out that your negativity gets old. It's one thing to be realistic & criticize what needs to be criticized (which you've done), but it's another if that's the ONLY thing you are going to do.

We'll agree to disagree about Miles - no way to know yet. We're both just guessing anyway.

Yes the defense has improved because Pellini changed what he was doing, but before you refused to believe that the team would change - just as you now assume that Miles won't change.

CF must have a very liberal interpretation of 'owned' b/c I didn't know repeating the same old tired, negative catchphrases constituted ownage. In fact, I would take the contrary.

 

Wow! What will it take for some of you to give this team a break? Florida wanted this win MUCH more than LSU, yet we still managed to win the game and DOMINATE UF regardless of the turnovers and penalties. You know... This will take time. Some of you are expecting immediate results. This is not Saban and this is NOT his style of football. Just be happy we are winning amidst this coaching transition... I'd much rather Miles than Meyer at this point. Maybe Weis and Spurrier are better coaches than Miles, they probably are... but SC isn't doing as good as LSU, and ND, regardless of how they looked all season, SHOULD HAVE BEATEN Southern Cal. Do you guys realize that we DO have one of the better coaching staffs in the SEC as of right now? Miles' teams were very well coached at OSU... but I think he IS coaching out of his comfort zone right now... and HE HAS TO. If he coached this team the same way that he coached OSU, we'd probably only have 2 wins at this point... This teams main problems are VERY correctable... I can think of MUCH WORST PROBLEMS TO HAVE RIGHT NOW! At least we have an offense that can score points while turning it over 5 times a game. You know what else? We could continue to play how we are now and beat teams on talent alone and end up in say... the Sugar Bowl, and win that game. Then what? We could just as easily end up in the Rose and meet USC or UT and get our asses pounded--even if we were to play "error free" football... I'm getting tired of all of these damn put-downs. You want to coach this team? Then send in your resume to Skip. Please let me know how that goes... :tigerhead

 

I agree we have young players and a brand new coaching staff. Sure we have had a lot of turnovers but it will get better. Jamarcus is maturing more and more as a qb every game and Pelini defense is starting to look like the old tiger d. If our d stays the same then we are going to atlanta. From there yall can whine of we didnt make it to the nc. Get over the Tenn game we lost! We are a totally different team now.
