Of course, wouldn't you know, I had a scrambled egg sandwich at lunch and put ketchup on it. It was freaking great. So maybe my issue is with ketchup when meat is on the sandwich. I dunno...I do feel like a bit of a traitor though for liking it that much. It helps that I had some cajun seasoning and Tabasco on it at least.

Actually, I didn't. It's never a surprise to me who much what we eat in La. (More specifically the South) is far from staples in diets outside Louisiana. As close as North La. many people don't eat squirrels. Go out West and the menu is off the hook in terms of what we eat. Some of the things vball mentions, I don't even know what they are, and I don't mean to think everyone here has had as "Sheltered" an upbringing as me, in terms of travel, other cultures etc. I'm just an ol coonazz me.
One has to have experienced a peanut butter and mayhaw jelly sandwich to be a true PB and J cornysir.
