Nobody likes the bodybag games but I'm glad LSU was playing NW State following the Texas game instead of a Notre Dame or an Ohio State. Vanderbilt is a weak sister but last season that spot on the schedule was occupied by Georgia. I would rather be playing Auburn or Florida following Vandy and save Utah State for the week after the Bama game. The SEC is too tough to be playing OOC powerhouses in mid season. Since we don't have an OOC traditional rival like Georgia, Florida and South Carolina we can always make aTm our regular season ender. Like it or not this season's schedule sets us up perfectly to make a run at the SEC and National Championships. All we have to do is beat the evil dwarf and not slip up vs anybody else.
For as long as I can remember, every major school in a power conference has had a couple of rent-a-wins on their schedule.
You aren't going to find a coach alive that's going to want to play 8 conference games and 4 games against Top 25 opponents.
A couple is one thing, Bama has Duke, New Mexico State, Southern Miss, and WCU. Do you even know who WCU is without checking? lol
