Yes and no. I might have to hold my nose if he were considered but I like his approach and mindset far more than wimpy Sarkisian. Some coaches are not so successful their first jaunt in the NFL. Saban and Carroll weren't. The right fit isn't always obvious when the job is offered.

Carroll I don't think was the right fit like you say, but Saban, I would bet everything I have he would not be a successful NFL coach. Pete is a swell likeable dude. Nick is a fucking douchenozzle that professional players hate.

You would lose. Bill Belichick is not a likable dude. If Saban had gone to someplace like New England he would have been successful. Wayne Huizenga put restrictions on "The Saban Process." Robert Kraft lets Belichick do it "The Patriot Way."

Interesting points. Never thought about it quite that way.

even the guys Saban drafted hated him. Bill Belichick is not Nick Saban.

Don't you think Nick is just as warm and fuzzy as Belichick?

I think Belichick is more likeable than Saban.

I think they are equally unlikable

Saban tried to treat the Dolphins like college kids. Belichick at least knows how to handle grown men.

Have you ever seen Belichick lose his cool?
