It doesn't come true, because the Offensive Coaches are not recognizing the problem. They keep trying to push square pegs into round holes.

What is realistic starting a thread or even defending a thread about caning our entire offensive coaching staff after 1 loss?

Give me sound logic and I wont consider you a venting troll.

I suppose therein lies the problem. We, as LSU fans, are spoiled by unprecedented success. LSU has NEVER been more relevant in college football than we have been since 2000. Nick Saban only coached us for 5 of those seasons (and a couple we kinda ugly).

Miles' ugliest season came in '08, with the championship hangover and a change in defensive coordinator came. And if we're being honest, Pelini's defense was abused more than it should've been from the middle of '07 until the championship game.

We're in a championship hangover this year, too. The biggest problem is that we didn't win it all last year, so we fans were hoping/expecting to trot out on the field this year, in what we perceived as an easy schedule, and win it all going away.

We lost far too much off of our team from a year ago. Look at the guys who are now in the NFL. The loss of the Honey Badger has been huge. The loss of players to injuries has been huge.

Wake up, folks. We are trying different things offensively. We are throwing more than we usually do--unsuccessfully, and in the process, we aren't running the ball well, either. We aren't running the same plays over and over--but we are NOT executing on offense. That's going to fall on the coaches AND the players. There is zero swagger on the offensive side of the ball. And it's stealing the defensive swagger, too.

The coaches are shifting guys like crazy on the offensive line to find a combination that will work, but LT is killing us. I expect to see JD back there next week.

This isn't a championship team. It does NOT have the special chemistry that last year's team had. That's a nebulous thing, and it cannot just be conjured out of thin air. Mett needs to get the hell out of his "Mett cave" on the sidelines. Wth is that?

There will be offensive coaching changes after the season. The question is, will there be a bandage big enough to stop the bleeding before an embarrassing season occurs? I'm talking '08 embarrassing, not Arkansas or AU embarrassing.

This is starting to feel like '08. But look on the bright side, some of those juniors/sophomores who were looking to go pro (Eric Reid, Brad Wing, etc.) may have NO reason to leave. And the most laughable is the folks who worried that Mett would go pro after this year. We will have an experienced QB next year. Hopefully, we'll get some receivers (may need to go the JC route and get a prototypical guy who can catch the freakin' ball.)

We better watch out, and figure something out and figure out quick for this season or it could get very ugly. South Carolina is obviously no slouch, neither is Alabama, and it would absolutely kill me, and hurt recruiting in my opinion if we lose to Texas A&M, god that makes me sick just thinking of it. And....Arkansas got a victory, they may be a totally different team by the time we play them.

Surely youre not so stupid that you think all of this reaction is based on one game. LSU hasnt had a passing game IN FIVE YEARS!!!!!!!!

We didn't get rid of Archer after his great year as a head coach. It took a steep decline. That's how coaching fires work.

I DIDNT start that thread!!! Please go re-read my post. I want to FIX, not FIRE. Please go re-read. And this isn't about one loss bro, please see this for what it "truly" is, it's about our last 3 weeks. And, further back than that! Not just yesterday!

I may have said, letting CLM go is what it may take in the long run, IF he is the problem, but I never called for him to fired over this one loss! Again, FIX not FIRE

Give me sound logic and I won't consider you a delusional homer.
