Much of it was, defensive scores and great field position played a huge part. LSU also rode a solid OL and a stable of backs in a one deminsional, unimaginative stone age offense. LSU has won in spite of Stud, not because of him.

I was at the game today. First time I've been to an LSU game in a long time. There was one big thing that stood out to me, the players did not look like they came to play. Their whole demeanor on the sideline and on the field immediatley struck me as something is wrong with this team. They came across as a team that was winless and unranked and have already given up on the season. I told my friend very early in the 1st quarter that there is a coaching or locker room problem with this team. This was unlike any LSU team I had ever seen take to the field. There is something going on that is deeper than play calling that has the potential to turn this into a very ugly season.

You seem to be the one in the minority. If you think the offense is great, good for you.

    Never said it was great.

    Not once.

I don't support knee jerk reactions when it is clear there is much more than an OC issue.

I have thought deeper about this and the facts are very clear..

Ive been watching our tigers (win or lose) my entire life. The past 10 to 15 have been a blast! Win or Lose! But the last time I can remember losing a game and saying " we played our ass off, we will get em next year" and not totally pissed off in total disgust was against Arkansas in 3ot in 2007.

I just want to enjoy watching them compete again. And I'm so over his offense, and how disgustingly unproductive and pathetic they are, that I literally flip the channle to another game when we have the ball and jut wait to watch our Defense!

And all that does, when I flip over and see an Ole Miss team with a better offense, or a ULM team, or even a Penn St team now finally having an offense that is productive, yet here we are, same struggles, different players, different coaches, different years, with the same ONE COMMON DENOMINATOR, is drive me insane! It's embarrassing guys!

If I'm now a negatiger, so fucking be it!

    I'm done

Whether its play calling or poor execution, it's STILL the HEAD COACHES responsibility! And logical fans see that. Period!! Nothing else to discuss. CLM is responsible and has nobody to blame but himself. He recruits the athletes, he hires the coaching staff, he coordinates the practice, he oversees the development, he controls the locker room, he picks the starters, he picks the 2nd team, he studies the film, he creates the game plan, he creates the contingency plan, he creates the play book, he calls the plays, he makes the adjustments, he is responsible for the motivation, the focus, the preparation, the hype, the discipline, and the outcome! He is the HEAD COACH

Not saying he isn't great, not saying he is, and I am not saying he sucks, but I AM saying he is responsible!

    Who said he wasn't?

But you'd be a fool to not acknowledge players AND coaches not stepping up..
