1. I would have to agree with this assessment.

Our defense was so dominating I never thought we would give up enough points to lose the game.
  2. When you look at it close, this was a game of field position. On the WV first TD, LSU had the ball at their 14 and went 3 and out and punted, WB got the ball around mid-field and scored. The other TD was on the interception from about the LSU 30. Other than those two scores, the best field position WV had was from their own 38 and the average field position (less the two td's) was the WV 19 yard line.

The key is if LSU can find a way to move the ball and keep the opposing offense in poor field position, then the defense will do the job. Turnovers and 3 and outs are what's hurting us.

I had confidence in this game because of what was happening on defense, however, I am never comfortable with a six point lead. Remember, WV missed two field goals. Move the ball, make the opposing offense work the distance of the field, don't turn it over, score a few points, FG's even and we will continue to win.
  3. Cause a fumble and they could've won...sounds pretty close to me.

  5. The "WIN!" goal post looks familiar...
  6. WVU was pulling for Lee to get in early.
  7. 4-0... games over...next
  8. JJ needs his carries for his YPC.
  9. If Tolliver doesn't let a ball go through his hands that ended up as an interception on our very first drive we get at least 3 more points and possibly 7. If, our receivers could hold onto the ball we probably get 3 more at the end of the 1st half. Then the scores at least 26-14. We can play this game all day.

Say what you want but JJ was throwing well in the first half and I have no doubt we score points on that very first drive
  10. When those door open you're on the field. "Win" is a piece of old goal post, every player touches it as they run out.

My teenager showed me how to clip and mail it to wal mart. Got an 8X10 of it up in my office.
