1. And LSU was a pic 6 from blowing them out...
  2. Regarding the DB tripping...didn't they score 7 on that drive anyway? If not, I apologize. But I think they did...so it wouldn't have made one bit of difference in the game had he not tripped...except maybe Lee would've been given a more fair shot. When you look at it that way...maybe it would've been BETTER for that DB to score.
  3. People are reading WAY to much INTO WVU.

    THEY HAD 177 YARDS!!

They averaged over 400 a game....

IMO, if we would have ran the ball more, this game would have been 31-7

Ridley had about 6 yards a carry. Miles should have caught onto that....
  4. why run Ridley when the option is so dominating? :)
    2 people like this.
  5. LSu had 230 yards with 120 yards in penalties. WVU had 177 with 39 yards in penalties... sounds like a push to me. The only difference was Mr. Peterson.
  6. Had my Aunt had nuts she'd be my Uncle. I felt the same way, LSU was never in danger of losing that game. It was just how impressive a win it would be.
  7. That's just the thing. As anemic as the Tigers offense was, had JJ not thrown the int which gave WVU the short field that led to a td, us winning 20-7 and this game takes on a different perception. I'd bet that the discussion would ge of a completly different topic.
  8. Okay, our offense was abysmal, but the game wasn't a push. Aside from Mr. Peterson, once again, our dominating defense was the key to the game, holding a pretty good offensive team to less than half of its average.

If our defense continues to do that, we're in every game, even with our offense.

  9. I would think they were trying to develop some balance and not over run Ridley in a game that they did, believe it or not, have control of.

This is a silly comment considering they scored on that drive after the interception, pretty much the same thing as a pick 6 that he would of been if he didn't trip...no?
  10. Every drive they had was aided by stupid penalties.
