Trump should take the Dems offer, and DECLARE VICTORY. Claim to be going to go high tech, 21st century wall. I doubt only a pittance will be spent anyway. Some talking heads were musing about Trump’s inability to declare victory. They pointed to every President back to and including Reagan who got much less for various programs than they wanted/demanded, but managed to turn a pittance into big win.
Trump doesn't want the victory, he wants the issue. He could have gotten $20 billion for border security from the democrats 3 months ago, but he didn't want that, he wants to keep the issue burning.

For the ten thousandths time, comparing Trumps inadequacies to the Dems, or vice versa, is feckless. They are all losers. It’s gonna be tough to say Trump’s better at long game when he is routed in 2020. Having said that, Trump is so petty and vindictive he is liable to nominate Hitler, junior, when RBG, croaks. That is the real endgame, I suppose.
Maybe but when it comes time to vote again, I dont see Jesus walking out there for us to vote for... LOL by who? Creepy Joe? Pocahontas? HRC? Trump is pretty petty, however the media in the Dems have somehow found a way to top him. The MAGA hat kid is just the latest example.
