I was very encouraged by what I saw on Sunday. Burrow is better than Etling. Even with the stats not being great, you could see how in charge he was of the offense. His receivers need to catch the ball and he needs better protection. Obviously, the entire offense needs to play together to improve. Some of the guys haven't played together and some have barely played at all. There are going to be some growing pains, but they looked pretty solid against a good defense. Yes, I still think Miami has a good defense. Their problems are on offense. I predicted 8-4 to start the year and I also predicted them to beat Miami so my season prognostication wouldn't change right now, but if you beat Auburn on the road, well then everything is on the table. Obviously, we need to be better on offense against Auburn. We aren't gonna be up by 3 scores at the half and basically run out the clock for two quarters, but you would expect our defense would keep us in the game and we have a good kicker this season so it should be close. If our offense can protect the ball and put together a few drives. Take advantage of good field position when it presents itself...you never know.
