Believe it or not, I can't even conceive that. A team that just won it's conf. championship losing out in the polls to a team that just got blown out of theirs? No way. I am officially for an LSU-USC title game. Screw OU. They blew it, they should be out. As to my original post, I feel a bit more relieved. Seems that the guys at ESPN have had a total change of heart about LSU and they seem to think that USC is more likely to get the squeeze in this once all is said and done. That would be wrong in light of OU's humiliation. I want USC-LSU, don't you guys? Let's settle it on the field. I honestly believe that LSU-USC are the sentimental favorites of just about anyone right now. What do you think?
OU doesn't drop below 3 unless the voters want to put them behind a 2-loss team or two. That's how. The big question is whether an OU at #3 in the human polls will be enough for us to get in. LSU-USC. That's the only way to go.
