how many passes were the WRs WIDE... i mean WIIIIIIIIIDE open that JR twisted them into a pretzel to make them catch it, and they couldn't run after the catch because of it...
was our playbook different when Flynn scored 21 pts against UNT in like 5 mins, when Russell got 28 in 3 quarters? Does it change like the big board at McDonalds that flips for Breakfast menu and Dinner menu... Does Les press a button when he wants the matt flynn playbook?
I just don't get this crap at all. All season long, I'm hard on Miles and the playcalling and half the board says Ch0sn0ne, you are to hard on Miles and the playcalling, give him a chance. Now I give the guys a compliment on calling a great game, and that SAME half of the board says damn you Ch0sn0ne, you dumbass, the gameplan still sucked we just executed the same ****ty gameplan better. WTF ever. I never expected to have a single upset LSU fan after tonights game. Obvioulsy I was wrong.
I'm not pissed I'm laughing at your NO football azz. :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: bright are we? let's see they teach the kids to execute the plays... mmmmmm this statement is bogus, we 've been running that post to the middle that scored for as long as fisher's been our OC. We ran the same pass routes as before it's just that we actually threw the ball to the second read and not at 700 MPH where he couldn't catch it. Gee uncle bob before ALL the recievers had problems catching the ball but in THIS game none of them did? whut up wit dat?? :dis: well golly lil Ch0sn0ne, I guess the QB was more mobile and it kept the D honest a bit to pull them up, and gosh lil Ch0sn0ne, i guess the QB used some game execution and looked off his recievers some and maybe executed his handoffs without telegraphing it to the ADVOCATE ahead of time? :dis: YOU THINK????? how many games you played in honestly, how many? coached? water boy? ANYTHING? :nope: just wondering, no harm meant, i have a theory that it's a very low number. and also HAPPY NEW YEAR!
JSracingBBF, I'm so glad to be someone's hero. Now, could you please call the "Delilah Show" and dedicate "Wind Beneath My Wings" to me on the air. It would be so special. Seriously, I do agree with you. I've seen most all of the plays we ran tonight before. The thing is, we used a larger variety of them in this game because things were going good and Flynn gives you a chance to run more fakes than with a non-mobile QB. Plays I loved: The fake FB-handoff pitch to Addai we ran for a TD and on the 1st play. The fake handoff to Skyler that we passed to Addai for a td which is the same play we beat Florida with two years ago in the Swamp on the last drive. The fake handoff that we passed to the tight end. See, we have run these plays before, but not usually all in the same game. Jimbo called a great game. The execution and the faster QB is what made the playcalling more varied. It was nice to whip Miami's azzzzz. Especially after Coker ranked Miami #4 on his final ballot.
Matt had a great game tonight. I am quite possibly the biggest JR fan at all, and Matt's performance tonight highlighted some areas that JR could improve on if he is to keep the starting position. Lets see if Matt can carry this momentum in the spring. This game reminds me of last year's Capital One Bowl where JR had the performance of a lifetime in leading us to that oh-so-close victory. I still think that JR will get the starting job, mostly because he has beaten Flynn twice in practice to get the starting job. No knock on Flynn at all, the boy can play, but this makes for an extremely interesting spring practice. I really can't wait. This is truly a luxury for any fan. To argue between a QB that went 10-2 on the year and a QB that destroyed a top-ranked D with a National Player of the Year waiting in the wings. At any other time in LSU history, these guys would be starter's in their own right. Wish we had them in the 90's, or at least guys of their caliber.
All season long *I* was pissed that Fisher's offense was lame. I was pissed that our offense was lame under Miles. Now, I really don't think Fisher was the problem and I appologize for falsely accusing him. I think Miles still has to prove he can maintain LSU's staus as a national player. I'm happy for Miles and believe it is possible he can do a good job here, but I haven't bought in to him yet. Saban did a lot of dirty work, I hope Miles can take it and run with it in a much friendlier way. I hate seeing our players show their asses, which they do more now on the field than under Saban. Convert me Miles. Make me believe you can do it. You haven't yet.
