Zackley. I looked in last night after to a half expected meltdown and got about 2/3 of a full blown meltdown. Kinda scary actually and highly undesirable. I had to strain to find rational comments.

I understand folks being less than pleased however it has become a playpen filled with spoiled brats. This morning you look around and there is a mess left from what was a spoiled tantrum. I am resolved to watching a few posters who I know I can rely on for level headed analysis. Kinda stopped even reading the thread titles. I only jumped onto this one cause I know you and where you were geauxing.

Pleased with the game, hardly but it was not all that long ago that folks handled their displeasure in a much better way. Responsible thoughts on a forum? Guess it ain't so unless you wanna dig.

They said last year to wait till Sunday to look in, well this year I might recommend waiting till Tuesday for some rational thoughts. My .02.

the fans reactions are mostly a reflection of the games themselves.

    chaotic and unstable.

i dont think its the overwhelming expectations creating this. it think its just the opposite.

fans who give their hard earned money want to be proven wrong about les. they already expect him to fail.

they want to see the qb actually has improved. that players are utilized to their potential. that the big 10 playbook has been torn up. that les knows down and distance and time remaining on the clock.

dear lord, most fans want this more than anything else. much more than a blowout.

just because we sucked in the 90s and expected to lose doesnt make our current expectations for a 4 million dollar coach to be capable unrealistic.

and thats all people want the most. not 12-0 and a NC every year.

people here are smarter than that. emotional? yes. overly passionate? yes but thats what makes them great as well.

but the brand of football we see under this regime isnt often enjoyable for a reason. theres been a semblence of chaos and confusion for some time now. And if youre honest with yourself you can see it. its unsettling to those so passionate and even those like myself who just want to watch a well played game.

this game was the one les built fans expectations that he made wholesale changes. all that was shot down in one fell swoop.

one game, yes. but a pivotal one les needed to show he has learned and adapted. he failed. and so did the fanbase's confidence with it.

thats pretty much all this is about.

The North Texas grad who would've been at home with me decided to go to a concert in the park. But that was preferrable, actually, for me. I had my phone next to me to talk it out when I needed to.

Because the early 90s the internet was just starting out few people had the ability to sit faceless behind a desk and blast people

    But most importantly

    LSU fans were not spoiled.

I think Miles Sucks...but I can also put into words why I think he sucks.

But it works the other way too...its not enjoyable trying to watch a game with someone that sees everything through a purple and gold filter.

Thats why I like our tailgating crew...we have a few from both sides of the spectrum but the majority of us fall some where in the middle..when it comes to sports discussions

yep. i can sit down and talk with any of you and find that i can agree and disagree in the same discussion.

had to get that in cause i'm going through katt withdrawal.

but the point is, we can discuss. even if it gets heated it is with respect.

I watched alone because I needed a laptop to watch Cuse since there was no way to watch on TV. I called my house to tell my dad that he was watching the Bills 1st round pick.

But hey, I gotta find a bar for next week since I need Fox Sports Northwest, so if anyone else wants to go there I'm not negative. I kinda resemble a monkey since I jump up and down and scratch my head a lot.
