Recruits these days really like to go where they can play early. If you are a DL or LB, LSU is your place. However, the way things are turning out this season I think Ogeron is going to have a really hard sell to convince some of the best recruits to come on board with only the promise of playing time and not be able to legitimately guarantee divisional, conference or possible National Championships. Not to mention promise an Offense that will back up the defense

I would be shocked if his philosophy isn't very similar to Saban's and that's a major reason why Miles hired him IMO.

I have a bad feeling that a number of commits are wavering at this point and may end up elsewhere. What could Felipe Franks be thinking about his chances to develop as a potential NFL QB?

LSU has been a major player for a while and still has a lot of credibility with recruits. However you can only play the rebuilding card for so long. Orgeron has a lot of nice fish on the hook, but LSU really can't afford to let many of them get away. The D needs a great haul to replenish the front seven. Unfortunately we're going head to head with Bama on quite a few. I think a win against them would have paid huge dividends. Unclear how bad the prison gang rape hurt us.

Of course it is, but the alternative retains the same value stream that everyone but a few are intolerant over. The ONLY other alternative is to impress a performance based metric upon the great leader. I am not sure if there is anyone left that has the power to do so much less the ability to effect that change. Outside of paying him off and letting him go, encouraging performance or promoting him, what you got?

Miles owns this thing and until someone suggest a method for circumventing the status quo, folks are bitching for the sake of bitching. Miles will be here next season, and the season after and you can bet it is his football team more than anyone else. Firing Miles might feel good to say, but it ain’t happening without evidence of him performing farm sex in the girl’s bathroom.

How original, particularly since the discussion was about players. And what a surprise coming from you.

If you were a qb would you want to sign with LSU? Now, if I were a kicker...
