This is the new UW pitcher

-Junior RHP Zach Wright -- he's been
holding opponent batters to a .242 batting
average over his career at Washington. the
UW coach on him: "Zach's got enough stuff
to start, but we think we need him in the
middle of the game to get us as close as
possible to the end of the game."

    He K's Rhymes

Wild pitch to Katz, Laird to 3rd. Full count for Katz and he K's Katz....Bregman steals 2nd!

Hawthorne: that's pretty impressive when you can come in strike out Rhymes then Katz

Runners at 2nd and 3rd for Ibarra...goes to full count, Ibarra walks...no...ump has lost count thinks their has only been 3 balls. Wow. Now ball 5 to Ibarra, and he takes 1B

    BASES LOADED

Jones up. ... Flies out to left

Hawthorne: you know it's really windy when the foul poles are shaking

That 5-ball walk by Ibarra is now official. Wow, Ump, isn't being able to count something you should be capable of?

    Glenn still. 62 pitches

UW's best hitter up...goes 2-1 before flying out to center

    Glenn hits batter

LSU radio: Glenn's curveball and mechanics are much more under control since the first 3 innings

Now wind in Baton Rouge up to 32 mph

    K! Glenn has K'd 3 of last 5!

Popped up...Jones loses it in the wind...Laird comes in and makes the catch to retire the side

    Wright still in for UW

Up are LSU's two freshman sensations, Laird and Bregman

On first pitch: Laird lays down a perfect 10 of 10 bunt for a single

Then Alex THE BOSS Bregman smashes his first pitch right center, Laird scores, Bregman headed for 3rd, the thrown to 3rd is wide! Bregman scores after running straight around all the bases! Ruled an RBI triple for THE BOSS!

    6-2 TIGERS!!!!

Rhymes takes a strike and doubles!

LSU radio: "this team is fun to watch"
