I heard that Les Miles' sister's best friend's aunt's dog's former owner's landlord was asking about real estate around U-Dub's campus. :hihi:

Most of you must truly be DESPERATE if you had to make a post on this subject.

My daughter is a graduating senior at the University of Washington (generally referred to as U-Dubbh). She longs for the warmth of the South since she was raised there from birth until her daddy decided to retire in the beautiful Northwest. BTW, it doesn't rain half as much as BR does at my house and that's only 18 miles as the crow flies from downtown Seattle.

Emmert was hired in 2004 for about $650,000, given a raise to $750,000 before his first year was complete, and in 2007 was bumped to $910,000 (in addition to the $340,000 he makes on outside boards). That makes him the 2nd highest paid chieftain of a public college in the good ole liberal U.S. of A. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer newspaper has just run some stories on him and his counterpart at Washington State University who's been boosted to #17. They were both due a $100,000 raise for 2009 (why?) but since the state is currently looking at a $5.1 billion budget deficit, they wisely declined such Wall Street behavior.

I began my collegiate career in 1961 at LSU as well as my alumni four sisters and one brother (and their five alumni spouses). We all bleed P & G and wish the current and future Tigers the best.

Exactly. He left LSU for the pros which was a step up. Wasn't happy and didn't do all that well so he went back to college because a solid program offered a big chunk of change. Who wouldn't have taken that.

I know, it's the WAY he left and everything. Why are LSU fans concerned with the way he left Miami??? No ties there whatsoever. Do you honestly think a coach would say in a press conference during the middle of the season that he was going to leave them? No. I seriously dont get the animosity from Tiger fans toward Saban...

You know what would make a real meltdown for Bama fans? If Tubbs left after this year and Saban left Bama for Auburn LMAO!
