    Well, I'm offended that ABC, CBS, and ESPN can't find more objective sportscasters. Thus, in the absence of such objectivity, I'll take the homer over these guys every time. At least with Jim, I know what I'm getting going in, and can make allowances.

    In fact USC should have hoped for Oklahoma losing close to K-State. Had this happened, the pollsters would have voted the way they WANTED to vote, with USC #1, Oklahoma #2 and LSU #3. They were probably saddened by the K-State demolition, realizing that they no longer could control who played in the Sugar Bowl for the NC.

    Just to let you know how the media misinforms or "under informs" the masses.....I was at the Shoal Creek Saloon here in Austin watching the LSU game without about 200 rowdy LSU fans. Everytime they announced the Oklahoma score, the LSU crowd would cheer, not even realizing that they were pulling for the wrong damn result. That's how bad it is with the media. That's why I tried to post my stuff on here so people would at least know who they should pull for. I have to admit I didn't push the OU/k-State angle much at all, since I was convinced OU would win easily. Otherwise I would have made a big post about it as well.
