I was watching the game w/ my Dad, and as soon as it cleared the wall, we jumped up and tackled each other. He knew it was gone before I did...I thought it was going to hit the top of the wall and at least score Brad Wilson from third. And with Jason Williams on deck, I wasn't worried about him getting Morris in from second or third for the win. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary.
I was at a family reunion up North and luckily my flight returned in time enough for me to get home and see the last 3 innings or so. Me and my dad were sitting in our living room and at the time Morris hit the ball I was thinking, "Double! Tie game!". But when that ball cleared the fence me and my dad about went through the roof. Unbelieveable moment. One I'll never forget. :lsug:
Nice post- the video gave me chills. I've met Morris a couple of times since the homerun- always such a nice, humble guy with a great personality. :lsug:  :tigbas:  :lsug:
