The last thing this team needed was a distraction at this point in the season. And if this all comes out as true, it will be a national media circus.
I'm pro-legalization but: 1. It IS worse. Legally. 2. It's not as if they were caught running a methlab but that shouldn't be a defense at all. They have to know they are going to be tested and they know that the most pivotal game of the season is right around the corner. 3. There aren't any "silly" laws unfortunately. I wish. I checked. None. Just laws. Sucks.
WAFB just reported that Mathiew and Ware have been suspended. Well, the honey badger better start caring now.
I'm a pretty conservative guy on social issues, but you're absolutely correct, the money wasted on interdiction, jail, and loss of revenue tax stream, because it's illegal are stupid. That said it's illegal, theyre subject to random drug tests, and should know better.
This team has shown the ability to overcome distractions ALL DAMN YEAR All of these 3 are a part of this team, they help complete this team. BUT I am in NO WAY taking my ball and going home. We still have 5 plus games to compete in and while it will suck losing these three, the three behind them ALSO help complete this team. And those 3 stand on the same sidelines, participate in the same practices and team meetings every day and will be prepared to step in and up I wont like the media hype we get from it, but the media has always been up our ass GEAUX TIGERS!
Didn't see your quote and didn't mean to steal any of your thunder COTiger. It's amazing after this great run the team has had....how "in the past" that bar incident seems. It was practically forgotten, but now it will be brought back out into the open along with this new crap.
