The WMD's didn't exist. He told us they did. Either he lied or his people lied to him, which makes him incompetent. Take your pick.

They weren't found. Doesn't mean they didn't exist.

We have the evidence of the people who spent 10 years destroying them. We have the total lack of evidence that they still exist after 7 years of searching on the ground.

You have faith that they "must" be there. Sorry, I'm going with the evidence.

At this point in the game (8 years later) who cares whether they existed or not. What is the USA's best move from this point? Continue the mission in Iraq, or abandon them to their fate?

    Abandon.

Neither. We continue to turn over all duties to the Iraqis, then leave. We're almost done.

Your concept (or lack thereof) of foreign policy is embarrassing.

Your concept of intervention, mettling, undeclared wars, and endless spending is embarrassing.

I love how you lump me in with the endless spending, as if anyone who is pro-war is also pro-endless spending.

Sadly your Ron Paul view of the world is not going to get you anywhere, though. People will continue to hate us, regardless of what type of foreign policy stance we take. It's the price of being great. We will continue to intervene where we see fit. It's what superpowers do.

The sooner you realize that and accept it, the better off we'll all be! :thumb:
