Amen to the subject of this thread! I'm always for SEC teams when playing out of conference and always for Southern teams when playing out of the region.

Although it would be great to experience a game at the Horse Shoe or at Ann Arbor, there is nothing to compare to the SEC game day experience. There is also no conference, top to bottom, year in and year out, that is superior to the SEC.

It makes me feel even more proud as an LSU fan that my alma mater represents the SEC as champion of the best football conference in America.

    Thats my point.

Raising the Flag as SEC champions. The best of the best.....

Also I agree with the UF thing. It is very apparent the Spurrier teams of UF as far as arrogant jack asses are a thing of the past.

Although some of their fans leave a bit to be desired.

Their squad seems to be a classy bunch...

PS Tuberville was one of the guys who voted us #1, Alabama said LSU is the best team they have played......

Texastigers put it very well. We southerners may fight with each other but we need to stick together when playing teams from the rest of the country. Go Tigers. Go SEC.

I will honestly root for 6 of 7 SEC games and be looking forward to watching them compete and represent our conference.

Do those in the SEC that want us to lose understand the big payday for the SEC if we win. Hell im not sure but if we lose i think the SEC shares alot of money. Its free money to their programs and they should all become LSU fans come January 4th. Besides would you have rather have lost to the national champion or the runner-up?

Hey LSUinPA, where in PA are you? I used to live near Philly for a couple of years. Just moved to Tampa about a year ago.

An SEC sweep of all seven bowls would be a major statement that the SEC is the premier foootball league. It could happen.

And it would be a major SEC paycheck, too.

We have all learned how important strength of schedule can be. The stronger our conference is perceived to be, the higher our SOS next year. Who we pull for really has no effect on the outcome of games but I am solidly in the corner of all SEC teams from now through January 4th.
