The TAF needs legislative approval for virtually EVERYTHING it does. And, the TAF is only allowed to exist the way it does due to the Legislature. Only a public OUTCRY - like what happened last January/February - will ever keep the TAF from getting whatever it wants from the Legislature. In short, the Athletic Department relies GREATLY on the Legislature to get the TAF what it wants.

These were the same guys that threw our bill out to raise ticket prices, but when the NC comes around they are all chomping at the bit to go. This guys do NOT deserve to go to the game, half of them are not even LSU alums. I guess big Kathy Blanco and her husband Ray will be attending. After they get back to Baton Rouge, Ray and big Kathy will try to find ways to cut LSU's funding and redistribute it to inferior schools like ULL, and ULM. These people make me sick.
