The second i saw that Auburn was ranked #6. I knew they were over rated. Not for one moment did I ever believe Auburn was one of the top teams. I felt like I was the only one who knew Auburn wasnt even close to a Top 10 team. I really don't understand why everyone bought into the hype.

Yes, and we may be in trouble because we're playing you in Tiger Stadium--where your record's been better than ours for decades! I also felt like one of the only people who was saying, "Are you kidding?" about Auburn's preseason rank. I just didn't understand what warranted that top 10 rank.
Yeah, you'd think they would need to at least win the West (not to mention the SEC title) before anybody starts talking about national championships. I hope you're right about Tiger Stadium. I was at the Bama-LSU game in 2000, and I wondered if the "curse" was broken then. I know we whipped y'all in '02, but there's no way to tell if the curse still stands after one game...it may be a case of the visitors beating the crap out of the hosts for a while, judging by the last few years! At any rate, we are expecting y'all to be tough again this fall, so a little help from the supernatural wouldn't hurt us at all. Don't know if I'll make it down there for this one but I thoroughly enjoyed myself in '00 (despite the loss). That's the only time I've been to Baton Rouge, and contrary to what I'd heard, 98% of the fans we met treated us wonderfully.
