Maybe so, maybe not. North Carolina basketball admitted nothing andfought the NCAA every step of the way. They got no penalties wven though they were dirty as a mudhole. Missouri football came clean, cooperated fully and self imposed penalties. They were hammered by the NCAA nazis.
Unfortunately mostly not true in the real world. They knew this all along. They folded due to media pressure. All they had to do was drag it out for another month. You win and stick it to the system. Take the punishment after. It will make no difference in the end.
It almost feels like WW is orchestrating the response. I don’t really believe that, but it wouldn’t take much. I really like Wade.
The guilty should be punished, but the real answer is to change the system. Hell, if the USGA and the R&A can change a dozen rules without batting an eye, the NCAA should be able to change to. Think of the energy that is wasted on this mess, across all sport. Pay the REVENUE PRODUCING athletes, sliding scale, and make any violation the death penalty for 10 - 20 years!
So unfortunate but his sloppiness cost him. A guy whose unique success is due to his attention to detail. He should never be the guy talking directly to shadowy figure. Goddamn man maybe he's too young to know better. More likely it's just that common. But his choice not to talk yesterday was a decision between his current job and his career. He has to protect himself but alleva and fking essentially forced his resignation. If he met with them and he answers they likely have grounds to fire him which was their plan to cover lsus ass. They should have said we are handling this internally and let counsel communicate til the hearing is over. And back your best coach and team that is playing for a banner tonight. We have zero leadership. The same bums that couldn't fire Les and cost us jimbo cave to hypocrite Dick Vitale and 2 nobody columnist stoking this fire. No one will ever want to coach for them once this shit show is over. But yeah it's over.
