On paper, BC is the better team. They have a pretty good QB in Matt Ryan. But winning at VT is pretty tough and they will be fired up and ready to play. VT will need their defense and/or special teams to make some big plays to win this game. I'm pulling for VT, but I think BC will win a close one.
Im partially out of my mind, and sorry LVT, I meant to add one of these. :wink: I absolutely hate VT and like BC. I realize I should cheer for VT and they will probably win, but I can't do it. I just have faith BC will lose down the road. :grin:
VT's offense won't have to do too much tonite. 3-4 turnovers will provide short fields to allow VT to get easy TDs/FGs. That will be the difference in the game, plus some great red zone D by VT as well. Basically, Boston College will leave Blacksburg with the thought that they let one get away.
Even if BC weren't ranked ahead of us, we should still pull for VT. You want the team that you pasted so bad early in the year to dominate the rest of their schedule. At any rate, I'm fearful of the Glennon factor, as well. That dude just straight up blows like a nor'easter. I hope the Hokies can overcome that hurdle. GO VT!!!!!
